In addition to aggregating DEXs on the source chain as V1 did, O3 Interchange will also aggregate DEXs on the destination chain. That means users will have more choices for their destination asset. O3 Interchange was designed by a team dedicated to building an interoperable aggregator for Web 3.0 that provides a universal solution for cross-chain trading. The design closely aligns with the O3 community's feedback to push the boundaries of what's currently technologically possible. O3 Labs will continue to closely follow the existing cross-chain solutions on the marketplace and will continually improve the protocol according to the wishes of $O3's holders via the O3 DAO which should be refined and released sometime at the end of Q1 of 2022 or in Q2 of 2022. The new cross-chain mechanisms of Swap and Bridge allow for simple one-time confirmation transactions. Additionally, they'll be able to support more EVM-compatible chains and tokens. Separately, the O3 Labs team will also provide a Gas Station to solve the gas fee demand on each chain. Through Interchange and with stops at our Gas Station, users can better access the Web 3.0 superhighway. ## **1.** O3 Interchange Layer Structure ![](/files/IQ2mqEFnCgIHFmjLa6X8) ### **1.1 Application Layer** **O3 Swap**: O3 Swap V1 only supported aggregating DEXs on the source chain, but O3 Interchange, which is the updated and full version of V1, now can also aggregate DEXs on the destination chain via a cross-chain aggregator. This means that cross-chain swaps on V2 will have a more diverse set of token offerings to swap from and to. **O3 Bridge**: Based on PTMCs (Pegged Token Management Contracts) and pToken AMM Pools, O3 Bridge will allow users to safely bridge their tokens from one chain to another through the use of a sleek user interface, instantly with one-time transaction confirmations. **O3 Gas Station**: Considering there’s no better solution to meet the huge demand in gas fees in the current market, the O3 Gas Station is developed based on the O3 Swap to provide users with a simple interface and powerful function. Users no longer need to buy ETH/BNB/MATIC/etc... on centralized exchanges (CEXs) and withdraw to their decentralized wallets frequently. This costs valuable time and money. Instead, they can exchange these gas tokens directly within our gas station with little fuss. **O3 Wallet**: The brand new O3 Wallet focuses on being a mobile cross-chain tool, where the main functions, like Swap and Gas Station, will be integrated into one app with our proprietary UI. Others like Hub and Vault will also be included in the O3 Wallet Mobile APP progressively, stage by stage. ### **1.2 Protocol Layer** **O3 Aggregators**: Aggregate the liquidity from DEXs on various chains, provide abundantly supported tokens to swap, and look for the most cost-efficient routings. **PTMCs** (Pegged Token Management Contracts): A series of smart contracts on different chains manage pTokens’ burning on the source chain and minting on the destination chain. Each pToken on each chain has an independent PTMC. These PTMCs will be run by a relay network - Poly Network. ### **1.3 Liquidity Layer** **DEXs**: DEXs integrated by the O3 Aggregator help users swap between different assets. We can integrate multiple DEXs on different chains. **NPAPs** (nativeToken & peggedToken AMM Pools): An AMM pool consists of an amount of Token and an amount of its pegged token(pToken). These pools are operated by the protocol automatically during cross-chain transactions, so there are no extra steps for users to interact with them. Only when it comes to adding liquidity or converting between Token and pToken via Barter for arbitrage opportunities will users need to take that step on their own. By deploying pToken AMM pools, numerous hot and niche long-tail tokens from projects looking for exposure can be supported for cross-chain transactions on O3 Swap V2 easily and frequently. ### **1.4 Network Layer** All EVM networks can be supported in a short time by simply deploying PTMCs and integrating with O3 aggregators. Supported networks will be synchronized on Swap, Bridge, and the O3 Gas Station. ## **2. Cross-chain System** ![Cross-chain transactions among ETH, USDC, and BNB. Select the input asset from the source chain, and the output asset from the destination chain, and input the amount. **Submit for inquiry**. 2. The O3 Aggregator then looks for the best price from DEXs, recommends the most cost-efficient route, and shows the quote. **Confirm the transaction**. 3. **Source chain**: ETH will be swapped to USDC from a DEX, then bartered to pUSDC from the USDC/pUSDC pool. After being approved by PTMCs on the source chain, pUSDC will be burned. 4. **Destination chain**: The same amount of pUSDC will be minted after approval by the PTMCs on the destination chain, then bartered to USDC from the USDC/pUSDC pool. This USDC amount can then be swapped to BNB from a DEX by the aggregator or directly transferred to the user's address on the destination chain. ## 3. Liquidity (Hub) ### 3.1 Liquidity Solution ![](/files/XIiJXCB6MOAhu7DmMQY8) All liquidity is deposited in the AMM pools consisting of Tokens and pTokens. For example, users can deposit either A, or pA, or A + pA. Depositing A + pA instead of only A or pA can reduce price impact and give you more LP tokens. **Liquidity Entry Chain** There is a critical mechanism named Liquidity Entry Chain, which is set to a Token that its pToken has to be pegged from. This mechanism ensures that each pToken on each chain comes from a real Token deposited on its Liquidity Entry Chain and has its value guaranteed rather than being minted from nowhere. A Liquidity Entry Chain can be the Ethereum mainnet, BNB Chain, or any other public chain. Take A as an example, if its Liquidity Entry Chain is Ethereum mainnet, then users can Peg A within Ethereum mainnet or from it to other chains to get pA. On the contrary, users can also Unpeg pA back to Ethereum mainnet to redeem their A. ### 3.2 Convert Users can convert between Token and pToken via 1:1 Peg or Barter. #### Peg Peg Token to pToken or Unpeg pToken to Token at a 1:1 ratio. Peg can happen within a token's Liquidity Entry Chain or from it to other chains. Unpeg can happen within a token's Liquidity Entry Chain or from other chains to it. #### Barter Barter between Token and pToken directly from the AMM pools within the same chains. There might be a slippage during bartering. The default slippage is set to 1%. To be clear, you may earn or lose a small percentage of your exchange when bartering between Tokens and pTokens. ### 3.3 Arbitrage The initial Token:pToken ratio in an AMM pool is 1:1, but it’ll be fluctuating as barters happen. So sometimes users may barter more Tokens or pTokens, and that's where users can arbitrage by Bartering. More importantly, these arbitrages are also constantly balancing that ratio and the liquidity among different pools, which makes cross-chain trading more lossless. Take A as an example, its Liquidity Entry Chain is the Ethereum mainnet and the pool has more A than pA. At some point in the pool on the BNB Chain, the amount of A is getting lower than pA's, then users can Barter m\*A for n\*pA (n>m), and Unpeg n\*pA to Ethereum mainnet to get n\*A. The profit of this arbitrage ≈ (n-m) \* A, and both the pools got more balanced at the same time. ## 4. Risks & Disclaimer Caution should be exercised when interacting with any smart contract or dApp. While risks are attempted to be mitigated through testing, audits, and bug bounties, there is always a risk of vulnerabilities in smart contract code. The latest product updates and information are subject to the [official Twitter](https://twitter.com/O3_Labs) announcement. # Tokenomics The Economic Model of O3 Interchange(v2) ## Summary O3 Swap Token (O3) issued by O3 Labs represents all O3 products and is also a critical mediator to promote their development. Except for trading on exchanges and some airdrop events, there are two major ways to earn O3 tokens: providing liquidity in Liquidity Pools and participating in governance voting. Most importantly, O3 Interchange will build an Economic System of Deflation. All transaction fees collected into the Treasury will be used to constantly buyback $O3 and burn to pump it, thus benefiting all $O3 Holders. In addition to the O3 Swap Token, the O3 DAO Token (DAO3) is the governance token and performs extra applications of O3. O3 Holders can stake their O3 to get DAO3, which means being an O3 Holder is the only official way to get DAO3. Most notably, DAO3 mainly represents the governance rights of holders, so it shall not have a price or should be price inelastic. Under this Economic System of Deflation, all participants, including users, liquidity providers, developers, and all O3 Holders, will be encouraged to invest in the maintenance of the overall ecology through the O3 and the DAO3 tokens. Economic System ![](/files/RjUXWZsZvefP7lz5MMPs) ## 2. **Ecological Role** ### 2.1 Cross-chain User Users who interact with cross-chain Bridge, Swap, Gas Station, and all other functionalities on O3 Interchange, in which processes generate transaction fees. ### 2.2 Liquidity Provider Liquidity providers can get LP Tokens that represent the proportion of the liquidity they have deposited into Liquidity Pools. They can stake their LP Tokens to earn rewards. ### 2.3 O3 Holder O3 Holders can stake their O3 tokens in the “Vault” to get DAO3, which represents the governance rights of the O3 DAO Governance. There will be rewards in O3 tokens for governance participation and rewards in other tokens for DAO3 holders. ### 2.4 Treasury Our Community Treasury is a multi-sig contract designed to receive, manage and distribute tokens for multiple purposes to promote the development of O3 Labs projects and the community as a whole. The treasury fund will be transparently supervised and managed by community members through [O3 Vote](https://snapshot.org/#/o3dao.eth), giving them the power to decide how the fund should be used.

### 2.5 Development Committee Mainly composed of the O3 Labs team responsible for promoting the development of the project and the community construction. Other candidates can be elected to join the Development Committee for building along with the O3 Labs. ## **3. Staking** ### **3**.1 LP Staking The LP tokens received after adding liquidity into Liquidity Pools can be staked in the LP pools in the “Vault” to earn O3 tokens or other tokens. ### 3.2 Token Release In order to protect the $O3 token price, the total incentive is set to a fixed amount per year and will be halved based on that amount of the last year. | Year | O3 Token Incentives | | ----------------- | ------------------- | | 2022.06 - 2023.06 | 10,000,000 O3 | | 2023.06 - 2024.06 | 5,000,000 O3 | | 2024.06 - 2025.06 | 2,500,000 O3 | | ... | ... | Each pool has an initial weight of incentive proportion, and the weight will be redetermined periodically by the proportions of its trading volume and governance votes to optimize the utilization rate of the liquidity and maximize the interests of liquidity providers. ### 3.3 O3 Staking (Phase I) In Phase I of O3 DAO, O3 holders can stake their O3 to get NFTs, and then stake NFTs to mine DAO3. There can be some projects that are freshly arising but have great potential, and partner projects can also be proposed and voted on in DAO. ## 4. Unlock O3 The O3 token is in a locked state after being mined in the above ways. Users are required to provide liquidity with O3 trading pairs to the main DEX on the current chain to unlock the O3 tokens. Introducing O3 DAO O3 DAO is a decentralized autonomous organization where users are able to make proposals to help improve the user experience of O3 Swap and other O3 products. The DAO supports a wide range of ideas like voting on the new tokens and chains to be supported in O3 V2, adjusting the APRs of different pools or adding new pools outright. Users can also make proposals regarding website UI improvement, treasury management, and new features they’d like implemented. The development team at O3 Labs is open to all possibilities provided that are popular in the community. Of course, there must be possibilities. We believe O3 DAO will become the cornerstone of O3 consensus where great ideas from the community can be developed and brought to life so users can grow with O3. ## 2. About $DAO3 $DAO3 is the governance token for the O3 DAO. All $DAO3 holders are able to vote on a proposal which may change the O3 protocol, and a voter needs to hold a certain amount of $DAO3 to propose a vote. Furthermore, $DAO3 can be used to propose more other utilities like unlocking rewards or accelerating the $O3 mining speed. ## 3. How to get DAO3 tokens ### 3.1 Phase I : Fair Launch (89 600 eth blocks ≈ 2 weeks) During Phase I, users stake $O3 (eth) to get O3 NFTs (eth) wherein a percentage of the staked $O3 will be burned forever. Loyal users who value making changes to the protocol to suit their unique needs should consider burning a larger amount of $O3 to secure their influence. The first batch of $DAO3 supply (10m) will be distributed to users according to each user’s NFT mining ability. How to vote** A proposal cycle starts every Monday at 12PM UTC when all the numbers (except for voting-result related numbers) will be read from a snapshot. ### 4.1 Poll (Discord) The O3 governance channel in discord is the place for governance-related discussion among the community. All members here have the right to submit a poll as a temperature check for a potential proposal. To submit a poll, the user has to select a template and provide required content to make a poll more understandable to the community and O3 Labs team. Other members can actively provide their personal opinions to perfect the content to better benefit the O3 community and O3 users. A poll will be valid and available to be cited to propose a formal vote. If it eventually gets a certain amount of likes, then users can proceed to the next stage of formal voting. Must comply with local laws and regulations. ### **4.2 Propose a vote (O3 governance portal)** A proposer must hold a certain amount of $DAO3 before proposing a formal vote, and the proposal does not burn any $DAO3. To submit a vote, the proposer has to select a proper template, cite a valid poll (each poll can be cited only once for each ongoing proposal) which contains the most detailed information about the formal vote, period of validity and all other required content and voting options should be clearly provided. Note: Each type of proposal has a limited number of times during one proposal cycle. ### 4.3 Vote (O3 governance portal) All $DAO3 holders have the right to vote on the ongoing proposals. A voter needs to decide how many $DAO3 tokens will be voted (the voted $DAO3 will be burned) to support an option, or multiple options. You can vote multiple times for one proposal if you changed your mind. These $DAO3 tokens indicate support or opposition to a proposal. A proposal will be valid if it eventually reaches the quorum which refers to the $DAO3 burned amount in a proposal. Reward** Once a proposal passes the quorum, no matter if it is approved or vetoed, all voters will be rewarded a certain amount of $O3. The reward amount is calculated based on the equations below: Ri - user’s $O3 reward amount; Bi - each user’s $DAO3 burned amount in a proposal; Bo - user’s $O3 burned amount; k3 and k4 - tentative parameters. Execute** When a proposal becomes valid, the execution of the proposal may be scheduled. For a “yes/no” vote, the proposal will be executed if the affirmative vote exceeds 50%. For a multi-choice vote, the most voted option will be executed. **Notice Period** A 2-day notice period starts right away when a proposal is approved. During this period, users and the O3 Labs can value the potential risk and users can take measures to protect their assets. When the notice period finishes, the execution starts. ## **7. Announcements** Each time a poll or a proposal is approved, there will be a public announcement in the O3 discord governance channel to inform all users. As a medium, it enables the most basic cross-chain function. It’s not necessary for users to have any interactions with pTokens in a normal cross-chain transaction. As cross-chain transactions take place, the ratio between trading pairs in the liquidity pool will fluctuate, instead of a perfect ratio of 1:1. Networks（網絡層）：網絡層是 O3 Swap 的基礎，包括了以太坊、BSC、Neo、Heco 等公鏈網絡和具有潛力的 Layer 2 網絡。 2. Market Liquidity（流動性市場）：O3 Swap 在不同鏈上部署聚合協議，連接與聚合多個優質 DEX 的流動性，為用戶推薦最佳的價格和交易路徑。 3. Settlement Layer（結算層）：用戶通過 O3 Swap 連接交易池 ，基於私鑰簽名授權、通過智能合約來完成結算交易。另一方面，通過跨鏈協議與跨鏈池幫助用戶完成跨鏈的資產轉換與結算。 4. Users：通過加密錢包連接到 O3 Swap 進行挖礦與交易的用戶。 2. O3 Relayer：用戶與鏈上合約的代理者。用戶依據不同的需求，授權代理者通過 O3 Swap 找到最合適的交易路徑。 3. Swap：作為系統的核心交互機制，接收代理者的請求並實現交易結算。 4. Aggregator：負責聚合多個鏈上流動性源，為用戶找到最佳的價格和交易路徑。 5. Cross-chain Pool：基於 Poly Network 跨鏈協議搭建的跨鏈資產交易池，實現不同鏈上資產的自由兌換。 6. Liquidity Providers: 流動性提供者，主要包括以下流動性源： * 來自不同 DEX 的鏈上算法自動做市商。 * 為跨鏈池提供流動性的 LP 做市商。 ### 2.4 O3 跨鏈池 ![](/files/-MYF5r6MZWLB2ze_YABS) O3 Hub 由跨鏈資產池和基於 Poly Network 的跨鏈協議組成，使用 Curve 的 StableSwap 不變量，能夠優化為穩定幣提供流動性的算法性能。這樣的優勢在於為流動性提供者提供非常低的價格滑點，並極大地減少了無償損失。在實現方面，交易者可以簡單地跨鏈兌換主流資產；流動性提供者可以將單個或多個資產存入跨鏈池並質押 LP 以獲得 O3 獎勵。相比傳統的 Hub 機制，此設計允許用戶無需進行資產存取即可兌換跨鏈資產，大大降低了用戶操作/交易的門檻。 ### 2.5 跨鏈交易路徑 ![](/files/-MYFEsTayVjFRaQ_yH3Y) 舉例來說，在中心化路線中，如果要將 Metamask 上的 BNB 兌換到 MDEX 上的 HUSD，交易路線是一個複雜而繁瑣的過程。交易者需要將幣存入中心化交易所並通過 KYC 和兩步驗證執行兩次交易，最後將其提取到去中心化錢包和 DEX。而在 O3 Swap 去中心化路線中，我們通過聚合器和跨鏈池提供一站式交易體驗，讓交易者可以在他們的錢包中簡單地交換多鏈資產。 整個過程無賬號限制。 ## **3.** 代幣經濟學 ### 3.1 簡介 O3 Swap Token (O3) 是 O3 Swap 發行的治理代幣。 是推動 O3 Swap 網絡發展的重要媒介。 基於 O3 Swap 的經濟模型，通過代幣的社區治理機制，激勵各方參與者投入到整體生態網絡的維護與發展。 **代幣合約：0xEe9801669C6138E84bD50dEB500827b776777d28** ### **3.2** 經濟模型 ![](/files/-MY4q4OHASsy1LXdg3iX) 在 O3 Swap 的經濟模型中，賺取 O3 的方式有3種。首先，用戶可以通過早期參與產品測試和社區貢獻獲得空投。 其次，可以通過 O3 Swap 獲得交易挖礦獎勵。第三，可以在 Vault 參與流動性挖礦或其他質押挖礦獲得 O3 獎勵。以上三種方式獲得 O3 處於凍結狀態，需要在公開交易市場為 O3 交易兌提供流動性來解鎖賬戶裡的 O3。解鎖的 O3 有三個主要用途： 1. 會員權益：O3 持有者可獲得 O3 Swap 國庫分配的利息和交易折扣。 2. 社區治理：用戶可以通過質押 O3 發起提案、參與投票等方式參與社區治理。 3. LP質押：用戶可以使用 O3 合成流動性權益證明（LP），可用於解鎖和挖礦。 另一方面，O3 Swap 的所有交易費用將定期用於在公開市場回購 O3，並按比例分配給 O3 的權益持有者和發展委員會。 ### **3.3** 生態角色 1. 用戶 (Users)：使用 O3 Swap 進行交易的消費者。 2. O3 持有人 (O3 Holder)：持有 O3 參與社區治理並質押 O3 獲得相關權益的社區成員。 3. 流動性提供者 (Liquidity Providers)：為 O3 Hub（跨鏈池）提供流動性的合作夥伴/用戶。 4. 國庫 (Treasury)：負責執行接收、管理、分配、定期對社區披露財務數據等。 5. 開發委員會 (Development Committee)：早期由 O3Labs、社區貢獻者和獲得投票多數的代表共同組成，後期完全由社區推選組成。 ### **3.4** 回購 O3 Swap 平台收取的手續費將定期全部用於在公開市場上回購 O3，並存入國庫之中進行再分配。 ### **3.5** 質押 O3 持有者將能夠通過參與質押 O3 獲得社區提案治理、手續費折扣等權益，同時將根據每次回購總量的比例，質押者能夠按比例獲得的質押獎勵，獎勵來源於 O3 Swap 國庫中的 O3，按照以下公式進行發放： $$ StakingRewardsO3 = BuybackO3 \* 70% $$ 初始比例默認70%，既每回購1個 O3，就有 0.7 個 O3 被分配給 O3 質押者，後期百分比參數由 DAO 提案投票決定 。 ### **3.6** 交易挖礦 用戶在 O3 Swap 上進行過交易後將會獲得 O3 作為獎勵，根據每次回購 O3 的數量按照初始默認 1:1 的系統釋放 O3 用於交易挖礦獎勵，固定的區塊時間週期結算與發放一次，交易挖礦的計算公式如下： $$ MiningRewardsO3 = BuybackO3 \* 100% $$ 初始比例默認100%，既每回購1個 O3，系統就釋放1個 O3 被分配用於交易挖礦，後期百分比參數由 DAO 提案投票決定 。 ### 3.7 流動性挖礦 用戶可以通過質押單幣或多幣來生成 LP，為 O3 跨鏈池增加流動性，生成 LP 之後質押 LP 將會獲得 O3 獎勵，LP 代表流動性提供者贖回其資產並獲得 O3 獎勵的權利，該獎勵與他們對跨鏈池的貢獻成正比，跨鏈池的交易手續費將100%分配給流動性提供者。當流動性提供者撤回其流動性時，LP 將被銷毀並可以取回他們存入的代幣。 ### **3.8** 解鎖 * 凍結O3：用戶可以通過平台空投、交易挖礦、流動性挖礦、單幣挖礦等方式獲得凍結的O3（無法進行交易）。 * 解鎖O3：透過向 DEX 提供 O3 交易對的流動性，用戶可以參與 O3 Swap 的全部功能（參考經濟模型）。解鎖步驟和公式如下： 1. 在 Uniswap V2 上搜索 O3/USDT 交易對。增加流動性以獲得 UNI-LP 代幣。 2. 前往 “Vault” 並質押 UNI-LP。鎖定的 O3 將開始轉換為解鎖的 O3。最大解鎖速度為15000 塊（約48小時）。 $$ Unlock Speed = min\left{ Unlock Speed, max Unlock Speed \right} $$ {% hint style="info" %} **UnlockSpeed（解鎖速度）= K \*（LP 質押數量）** *K (每個區塊時間解鎖的 O3 數量) = 51.63977794 O3/LP/Block.* * K 的小數位數為 8。 {% endhint %} {% hint style="info" %} **maxUnlockSpeed（最大解鎖速度）=（O3 凍結數量 / G）** *O3 凍結數量 = 鎖定的O3數量（包括可領取的解鎖O3）* *G = 15000.（區塊數量）* {% endhint %} ### 3.9 **國庫** 國庫為 O3 的收益儲備池，並且負責執行接收、管理、分配、定期對社區披露財務數據等。 O3 Swap 的收益將在固定區塊週期內於公開市場回購 O3 並存入國庫；為了促進項目的良性循環發展，國庫的收入一部分將用於獎勵 O3 Staker；另一部分 O3 將分配給發展委員會，用於激勵社區貢獻。在階段0治理期間，默認國庫 O3 收入 70% 分配給 O3 staker ；30% 劃撥至發展委員會。
### 3.10 **發展委員會** 發展委員會主要負責推動項目的發展和社區建設。在早期階段，它將由 O3 Labs、社區貢獻者和獲得多數票的代表組成。 後期完全由社區選舉產生。
### 3.11 **分配機制** O3 發行總量上限為 100,000,000 枚，總共分為兩個分配階段，階段0總量 10,000,000 枚，其中包括創世激勵和社區回饋；階段1總量90,000,000 枚，主要為線性釋放。

Click the "Withdraw" and confirm the transaction in your wallet. 5.
